hey guys, im looking for a 350, to build up and drop in my 40. i live north of houston. is there anything i should look for or stay away from in a motor, my goal is close to 400 Hp and 425 Lbs, its just a goal though. my 2f is still good so i have all the time i need!

look for one in a weird vehicle like a short bus or something...better chance of one that hasn't been bored

Early 79 & later got the screw in cap.
I've got P/S pump that may need a rebuild. It had a "stiff" spot in the steering but I had a bad steering shaft. $25 + shiping if you're interested, I have all of the hardware that'll hang it off the block as well. I also may have the exhaust manifold, $25 + shipping again, no leaks. Here in VA.

I have bellhousing (stamped 3F, not sure what that means, off an 85 2F) and used clutch assembly (pressure place, clutch fork, etc etc) if you're interested. $50 +shipping.

I have the valve cover off an 85 2F. Screw in cap, not sure if it's the "tall" one. The PCV? port near the back comes straight up instead of on angle. Let me know what to measure, I'd like $25 +shipping from VA.

WTB: FJ40 Harness side of ign switch wiring
So I went to install my new ignition switch today and found to my dismay that a PO had hacked the connector off the harness for some reason and wired directly to the switch . Rather than chop the connector off my new one, I thought I'd ask here if anybody have a junked harness they'd be willing to cut this piece off for me? This is for a 77 and it has a 4 pin connector.
