Junk on this board is in NJ and would like to trade his S/C to someone for the stock components and some cash...ask in the 80 Series section and he'll probably pop up...

Eric, i am ready to do this project. Here is the list. Let me know. Bob
List of parts needed for my 72 FJ40 Toyota:
I have a long list. I bought my 72 new and have had it for more years then
I care to think about. I have decided to put it back to good shape and keep
it, as I tried a new car and they are $hit. (Jeep)
Driver side door. And the door lock assembly on the door jam. ( What a
nightmare these have been, and my only real complaint about my FJ40) Passenger side window regulator (crank) Passenger side door lock assembly. Both the parts on the door and the door jam. Front and rear heater. And assorted hoses and wiring. Even if the hoses
are bad I can use them to measure replacements. The front blower is intact,
I think
Dash gages. Oil, Water Temp., Gas, amp.
Gas tank sending unit.
Front fender turn signal lights assembly.
Rear light assemblies, and reflectors.
Turn signal switch, on steering column.
Rear hatch lock assembly.
Rear bench seats.
Clove box door.
Rear hatch door support arm. (This sucker has been banging me in the head
for to many years.)
Alternator and mounting brackets.
Dash board.
Oil Filter lines.
Weather stripping for windows.
I could use the whole top but I don't know how I would get it. Maybe just
the fiberglass insert. But I need a side rear window, drivers. The master break cylinder vacuum assist unit that works. (My right leg is
twice the size of my left from working the breaks without this for years.) Motor for wipers. I need a stock rim with clips, and hub caps.
Then there is little stuff like high beam dinner switch. Floor mount.
Do you have any diamond plate for the 72? Running boards or rear fender guards?
There is more, but I have to look at the FJ. I am taking it to the body
shop Sunday. Let me know if you are interested in selling any of this and
lets see what we can work out.
I need motor stuff, but I think I will upgrade to a new carb setup and
electronic ignition. Have you tried any of this and if so how did it work?
If you have time.
Thanks Bob
