FJ40 front door seals

Looking for all the weatherstripping/seals for the front doors EXCEPT the thick foam outside. I have that already. Just wondering if anyone bought a kit and never used it or knows a cheaper route about it. Not looking forward to another 300 bucks into the doors before i even paint them. Thanks

Email or post what youve got

Dam Cameron! I gave a set of factory 60 wheels to a guy for free not long ago you should have told me.

Warren,

Got your PM, not sure what to ask for 52. Make me an offer...

As for the other parts you need: If I understand what is in "F" in the diagram, I just made those pieces. I think the parts form a bushing for the firewall end of the piece I already gave you. After you put it all together on the truck it might make more sense. I think a trip to HD/Lowes should yield the parts you need to make it go.

Offer still stands to hand deliver, will also bring tools and some other spares related to the carb and linkage...as you mentioned, there aren't too many Cruiserheads around.

Nick

Ill take you up on it if you havent made your trip yet, Mother in law was in town all weekend. I see you posted about 6 this morning, I assume you are still in NJ?

Hit me off line if you can.

Thanks Warren.

Bushing Press tool

Anyone have a Slee Bushing Press tool they wan't to loan out or sell? I am planning on installing OME in the next 2 weeks and would hate to buy a new one for one time use.

Thanks

I've got one and will have it back in my hands next week. I'll send it to you if you'll send it back when you're done....

Jody.

My press tool was destroyed after the third bushing. The sides bulged like a marshmellow. I ended up using a socket of the same size (big).

Woody, has these for sale. Check the supplier section.

Check Here!

Thanks Outback

Look forward to it.

WTB: (1) LX450 Wheel - Any Condition

Looking for a single LX450 wheel - NOT chrome - Standard Finish. No center cap needed. Prefer decent condition but DOES NOT have to be perfect. Post or PM me pics w/ prices. Email: bamachem@yahoo.com will get the quickest responses.

I need rear carrier for '70 fj40

The weld job that the previous owner did on the spider gears is about to go, so I need a new carrier that I can throw a lock-rite into.

They are just abuot one time deal since they are made from aluminum. The reason for that is cost. In the shop we use metal ones, but they are way more expensive due longer machining time and material cost. You should get close to two sets of bushings removed and installed, unless the edges are caugt on the arm and the press tool forced in and not properly alligned. Or if your bushings are stuck and you need 50tons to get them moving. :D

Been in IN for over a week. :D

Don't have your email addy anymore.... Let me know what you have in mind...my schedule is pretty open right now.

Actually now that I look at the picture it looks like I'm missing number 50. Please let me know if you have one. I'd order it from spector but they would probably charge me $10 to ship it.

Are you looking for the case, the housing, or the whole diff assembly? See the drawing. I have a diff sitting in the garage from my 1969. It will need to be set up if you need the whole thing as I pulled the pinion flange (still there, just loose). Otherwise I can take it a part and send you what you need.
