th350

anybody have a th350 they wanna get rid of? thinking about dropping one in my 71 this summer. Lemme know. I am in TX
 
SM420 wanted

CRUISE MOAB.....yeah haaa!! Yes I will be there and can't bring you a SM 420, but I have a SM 456 your welcome to. The problem is it needs a new third gear and syncro...everthing else on it is bueno. The up side is I don't want anything for it. Give me $20 bucks for the pain in my a.. it's gonna be to lift it in and out of my cruiser and its yours! I thought I'd get around to rebuilding it and using it in an old Scout, but my Cruiser takes all my time and $ so I just want it out of the garage...let me know and I'll meet ya in Moab :D

67 wiper motors

the ones off ebay that i saw were for arms....and i do have arms, but they are for a different year, but i can still make them work. i just need a stinking set of motors now....not a huge deal now that summer is fast approaching, but its still nice ot have wipers.
i actualyl just got my wiring harness in from e-x wiring...160 bucks or soemthing...looks prety decent, full fuse block, 21 circuits...probably a weekends worth of work to put it in
i will go check out cascade.
 
Going to Moab with no spare....

If anyone could bring a 1.5 or 2 inch wheel spacer for a FJ-40 (6 on 5.5 bolt pattern) to Cruise Moab next week I'd be glad to buy beers and trade wheelin stories...and I'd even pay you for the spacer ;) If anybody could bring the spacer and a 37x12.5x15 that I can used as a spare, I'd by beers for the entire event and you'd make my coolest dude/dudet list of all time...lemme know as time draws short.

I have a SM420 but dont know if it is a 67 or not. how
does one know?

If it has external ribs in the casting it is the later year tranny. The early 420s were all smooth sided...

motors. I know of a 64 in town and if those will work i

I have worked quietly for about 10 yrs, about 4 yrs ago i finally sat down and got all the information needed through state laws, for attaining titles. And i just went through this crap again about 2 yrs ago with another vehicle.

Problem is the lack of me finding local sources for Toyota minis and especially cruisers, very very few cruisers here. maybe 20.

I have and still am searching for wreck or parts vehicles, but there are none, to be purchased local, and had a few people flake out that where at least in the region.

NO i will not pay over $1100 for a title and frame from CALI. I dont know who decided to gold plate everything from there, but they are running ass backwards.

IF i lived about 10 miles away and in a the different state, it would cost about $75, they do the title search and vin search, based on signed bill of sale and a clean check on the vins they issue a new title. I do not wish to start signing all my vehicles to my buddy to have him title them then sign them back over to me, its just a huge monkey wrench.

cruiserdan, it is similiar here, but the biggest complaint is that the title stays with the frame (so so) all cab tags are adjusted accordingly. both titles would not be needed, one for sure, bill of sale representing other large items would work for the other vehicle. BUT most of the time they request you go for the brand new title with new vin and manufacture date, YUCK.

i have a few laying here, but shipping would kill.

Bump... Anybody else have a set of tires that is looking for some of these parts or would sell the tires for a decent price.

Marlin (Marlin Crawler) took care of the wheel spacer needs...still lookin for a spare 37x12.5x15...anyone got one?
