Lagwagon, I'm not in a hurry and the 62 series would be the best, though I could get the 80 version to work. If the other poster doesn't bite, post back here after CM2004

might try just talking with a few other people about other junkyards around you. You might have to travel a bit to get the the tranny but i am sure you can find them cheaper then $50. or maybe more if your lookin for a rebuilt one. I think rebuilt ones are like $300 or so here.
If you were close i would get you one no problem.
Watch what conversion/ adapters you are looking for, there are alot of drivetrain problems with the longer adapters. DO a search here and on pirate.

Dude, call your local Toyota Dealer and price check them. I got a set of round brand new with bib lights for $80. You can't beat that for Brand New Signals and Lights.
You'll drop $40 on used just for signals. Another $20 for Bib Lights.

Yes i have one. it does need a output shaft bearing and i
think the middle bearing might need to be replaced other
than that it looks fine no gear wear and has the shifte as
well. I would like to trade for FJ55 parts like rear bumper
or interior parts like upholstery for seats and headliner etc.
the prob i see is i am in Portland OR. and the tranny weighs
approx. 50 kilos. unless you have shipping options?

I found 5 of the early hinges, enough to make 2 sets and 1 spare. 2 of them are still attached to the hood, no you don't get the hood, and I know a couple of them are pretty worn. PM me your address and I'll send them to ya if ya want them.
