91-97 FJ 80 coils

I could definitely use the rear coils. I dont really know much about the LC setup, but unless the front coils are the same as the rear, I dont believe I'll need them. Let me know what you would let them go for, and I could be interested in all 4. My email is s_wall98@hotmail.com if you want to email me about it, and my zip is 40965 or 37604 if you want to figure up some shipping. Just let me know. Thanks alot.

Wanted 1977 fj40 repair manuel

If you plan to do work on it yourself, it is by far the best way to go. There are two manuals to get: the (2F in your case) Land Cruiser Engine Manual, and the Land Cruiser Chassis and Body Manual. If no one has one here, there are often copies on EBay, and Specter Off Road or ManAFre would have them.

Wanted 1977 fj40 repair manuel

Here is the chassis manual on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7900111192&category=34233

The Chassis manual covers everything non engine. Electrical, brakes, Diff, Starter, etc..

If you keep checking, there are a couple of 2F engine manuals every month on ebay.

I have a 77 and they are well worth it.

The Haynes manual is good as a second reference point, but the factory manual is better.

Wanted: Misc FJ55 parts

JIm, for the battery tray, you might try the dealer, the chances of finding a used one that not rotted out are slim. not sure on 55 trays but 40 trays are $40.

I need one.....

square or round bezel? at some point both were availble in chrome from Toyota, but not anymore :(

I hate to say it but I wouldn't mind a chrome bezel(and bumper) myself ;)

Re:I need a 3 speed tranny

got one coming.

for those who have contacted me, thank you, but some advice; 3 speed tranny's aren't worth $150-400.

I had two free offers, and both fell through. Another request for the "for sale" or wanted sections; if you offer something, follow through with it.

Thanks for the tranny.

tags and titles

In New Mexico it is illegal to remove, transfer or posess loose vin tags. I wouln't be surprised if this is the case elsewhere. Here they sieze the vehicles and go after the person(s) in posession of them. It is treated as laundering a stolen vehicle regardless of the intent.

80 series stuff

I have a good bare front housing if that would help you.

Re:tags and titles

I sold a title, tag, and frame horn to a guy in VA once...my assumption was he was making a mural for his garage...

I suggest editing your thread text to reflect something along these lines...the interweb is a very public place.
