I bought a 8074 off a Jeep. It doesn't have the free spool hence the 0 vs the 2 for 2 ways to spool. At least that's what warn told me. Came off a ~76 or 78 jeep and that's the way jeep speced them from warn. I cut the little AMC JEEP sticker off it. Otherwise it's the same 
Yeah if you find a warn for 200 I would love to hear about it. It is a winch and supports your vehicle in time of need. I would put some more money into it if I were you.

I think me and nocents have struck a deal, if that doesn't go through I'll definately try these. Thanks for the info. I'm sure lots have chucked theirs, I prolly would have too except I'm finding it cooler and cooler to be column shift, especially for as mild as my offroading is. Thanks again.

I have an 8274, I bought used for $350. Looks like new now and only cost $600 more to get it working properly. If I did it again I'd have bought a new one for just a little more. Carefull what you get yourself into. If it's too cheap there's prolly a reason. Once I bought the winch I couldn't tell the wife I got taken and had to make it work. I did buy new rope instead of cable for that price though.

I have all the steering column and shifting on the fly from my 1970 fj 40, I live in Denver, CO.
I`am selling my clean 1970 fj40rolling chassis, I did cover the whole thing in hurculiner, but it can be removed.rocman1 said:

80-series front passenger seat
Need a front passenger seat for an LX. Will trade power seat for any seat (power or no power) that matches and fits. The motors are fine, but one motor gear is stripped. Seat does not move front to back, but all other adjustments work.
I have other used parts (junk?):
Toyota Shocks (mileage unknown)
Starter (core) -- may be OK if contacts are replaced
MK in mid-Michigan

Need FJ40 dash pad ANY shape
In SoCal or Arizona please as that's the only areas I'll be in for the next three weeks (before heading south to Guatemala). Promised the pad for a guy in Honduras and I haven't scared one up yet (I haven't tried too hard yet).
Cracks are OK as they recover them somehow.
