Hey Guys..

Been feeling a vibration in my pedal and some thumping from the front left side of the vehicle for about 2 days now and rememebred to check it this morning..

Seems like I got a bad set of front left wheel bearings..

I can take them all apart to check what numebr they are and then see if I can fidn them in the jungle here..

BUT.. I think it would be prudent to see what is available before taking the thing all apart .. to get the numbers.. only to find out I need to wait 2 weeks for them to be ordered from somewher far away-

At least now I can move the vehicle and park it all assembled until the fateful day arrives..

I did a search.. but found nothing..

Most of you in the developed world.. order these by vehicle applicability.. I have to order them by the numebr lasered on the bearing..

Does anyone have that number written down somewhere.. or have an old set they can read off to me-

Thanks

LOTS more wheel bearing numbers in this thread starting at Post #16:

Yes, that thread is in the 40 section. The '76 and newer FJ40 uses the same wheel bearings as an FJ60.

Good luck!

80 series is also the same, so lots of alternatives to have your local parts place look for.

Full Floater rear uses the same bearings too!

You'll need a seal too.

Inner measurement of seal is 62mm - the rubber bit that rubs on the moving hub.
Outer is 85mm and the seal housing is 9.75mm
