I’m back with getting my not so great, well pretty crummy frame back in usable condition. want to set the body of the frame before I deal with putting to roof back on as who know what moved around. As I was welding i noticed the rear leaf spring hangers seemed to angle inwards a bit. And I have no idea if this is normal or if my welding moved things. I have the docs to check the body mounts but nothing to look at the suspension mount. All the body mounts check out.

Does anyone have a frame they can check the measurements of the “front” rear leaf spring hanger? I attached a photo i can force it to whatever with the port a power, but the whole frame is moving more than I’d like. Any help would be greatly appeciated. Or if there is someone with a fj60 or 62 in the twin cities area I could quick take some measurements on it would be swell.

Not sure what the question is, but bumping those front leaf spring rear hangers about 1” towards the front isn’t the worst idea. Better shackle angle for all the standard lift kits. Same in the rear.

I just measured my '83 and the inside - inside is 36 and 13/16 inches (935 mm ?)

Ok yeah… my question write up is terrible.

Inside inside dimension on the front hanger of the rear leaf spring setup?, I think Sims got me the answer. Appreciate the reply and feedback!
