If I were to call with questions...
(which I won't because I'm not a serious buyer and don't want to waste his time)
I would ask:
Did the dash have to be "split and sectioned" to fit the width of the 60...if so, where did you split it?
What does it look like where the dash meets the lower inside of the windshield?
How were the seats bolted down?
How were the seat belts bolted down?
What does the gap between the end cap of the dash and the kicker panel look like?
How far does the front bumper end cap extend beyond the front fender?
Do the airbags still work?
Do all the stock vents on the dash blow when the heater is activated?
Does the defrost work properly?
Have all the switches been crossed over? Wipers?, Rear wipers? Rear defrost? etc.
But the most concerning thing looks to be the rear axle placement in correlation to the wheel well....it looks like the whole tire/axle is too far back as it relates to the wheel well opening. It would simply take shorter rear LCA's and adjustable uppers to solve that, yet it wasn't done...
If that rear tire is stuffed, it's going to move it's position even further back and will probably rub.
If he didn't adjust something so obvious, what else wasn't addressed.
It's intriguing, but what concessions were made to call it done?
And, of course, why the defensive nature about discussing the price? Probably because he wants to have an opportunity to justify a number that is going to sound out of hand to the casual observer. I'm sure he's convinced himself that it's worth 70-80% of a Jonathan Ward (TLC4x4/ICON) FJ142 (FJ62 + FZJ80) and while I don't know the price of THAT, it has to be around 85K to 100K.
To quote: "...If your first question is how much I am asking, then this might not be the vehicle for you."
Price is going to have to come into the equation at some point, why ward people off asking right out of the gates, while simultaneously setting the precedence that you are defensive about discussing it?
