fj60 build on extreme4x4 this weekend

I dont know if anybody caught it but it looks like this is on again this weekend, its part II of Project Saggin Wagon.

I watched it yesterday.....it was yet another rerun. They were cutting the back half off, setting up the rear 4 link, and the rear axle (gears, upgraded axles, etc.). They also showed the 37" Pit Bull tires they are going to be running.

If someone can get all the episodes on DVD together when they get done that would be nice, but having to watch here and there (10-15 min per show) to see the entire build kinda stinks. But I am pumped that there is a FJ60 on TV period, so I guess that makes up for it!!!

For those of you who own an Xbox 360 you can download the saggin wagon II and III for about 2.65 an episode from Spike's video market place. I agree they totaly screwed up the back half of the wagon. Could they at least show us when they trail tested it.

It was on again yesterday. I figured I would keep the original thread alive. Since the Extreme team have already commented on this thread b/f.

The FJ was basically finished when I first saw it, they added a front ARB locker and an exo that was kinda cool.

The 60 just sat there.....no offense to the show b/c I love it. However, the commercials are killing me.....they last forever.

Another thing about the commercials all of the shows on "the power block" seem to be rated G. Which is cool b/c my little girl likes watching with me sometimes. These do come on during the middle of the day when kids are watching etc. HOWEVER the comercials are not rated at all.....I am not sure if the commercials have to be rated or not, but for a show rated G these commercials with blood, guns, adult situations, etc certainly do not match up.

I dont know if it would make any difference to email the show or Spike???


Anyways rant over......Get the 60 finished already I was pumped to see ya'll using the 203 box, something I have considered. But it went by so fast that I could hardly tell what all was going on. Looking good, keep up the work.

i know this isnt great but you can buy the episodes through itunes. I think its like 1.99 or 2.99 a show.

they should have an extended version of the show on Itunes that is more involved and show more on camera .

Jessi did the clutch in what was record time on the 60. Its taken me about 1.5 weeks to do mine at 1-2hours in the evenings. I wish my clutch replacement was that easy.

Still enjoy seeing a good looking rig being made better. I hope they take both FJ and the 60 out, and the 60 performs better.

I agree a longer version would be cool. It seems like everything being done on the 60 is being fast-forwarded through, but maybe it is because it is a 60 and I am actually interested in. I was looking forward to the trans and transfercase part but it happened in a blur. What did you guys think of the front bumper? I can't seem to decide. Cool to see a 60 on tv.

That front bumper is different....personally, I think it looks awful. Doesn't match up with the rest of the body lines at all.

That's kinda what I thought too. I wish I could have got a better shot, maybe a profile shot to see what is looks like. I never really have been a fan of the 'stinger' look, I think they look good on mini trucks but not on cruisers.

What I would have liked to see is how they made the linkage for the 203....and split case...They just reinstalled it with no mention of making it work...

i thought theres something that you all should see beins im shore not all of you visit the paragon forum. many people from paragon email IAN or what ever his name is and this is the coment he posted on the pap forum

now i dont no how you all feal. but everyone on the pap forum feals as tho this show is all hype and talk. When asked for help they said nothing we can do. email the news. We thought that the show was for the 4x4 crowd and was to help promote it and such. but they couldnt even give a 30 second spot to say hey help save paragon visit there site for more info. greedy nut huggin bastard.

We have read your posts, and articles related to Paragon's land issues. And although we sympathize, emailing us your concerns unfortunately won't do much good. Email your state senators! Looks like Times Leader's Steve Mocarsky is knee deep in an investigation that has definitely unturned some "slippery stones." Good luck to him and all involved.

And if all goes well, we'll be up there for a visit this season. Until then, watch the show this weekend on Spike to help take your mind off this mess for a half hour or so!

Doesnt sound to out of the ordinary. The producers prob wont let them talk about such things. I stinks whats happeneing there but I wouldnt bash a guy just b/c he wouldnt do you a HUGE favor. Can we get back on topic.....a 60 is on TV!!!!!
