1975 or older - don't want to deal with smog. Preferably in So. Cal., but willing to pay for shipping for the right one. Don't mind dealing with mechanical or cosmetic issues, but would be ideal for it to be either one or the other and not both.

I wish I would have seen this one before it sold:

1972 FJ-55 Toyota Landcruiser --Modified 35" Tires, V8 EFI, Locking Differentials. Read Below for details!

This Toyota Landcruiser is a great classic to own and few FJ55 Cruisers are available at this point in time. This vehicle is heavily modified with over $13,000 invested in building. This is a go anywhere vehicle great for the adventure seeking outdoor enthusiast. The vehicle was my daily driver for 8 years. Drivetrain is very solid with no mechanical problems. The engine could use a tune up for optimal power. I would replace plugs and wires if I were to do anything to the engine at this point in time. Steering has some play and could use a new steering stabilizer in front if driving on road often. This is a great vehicle for someone that has more time than I do to give this classic the love and affection that it deserves. Body could use some body and paint work to be a show rig, but looks great and tough as a brush/camping rig. I would not sale this vehicle that I have owned and labored over for 11 years, but unfortunately costly medical bills have caused me to sell it to a good home. This is hard considering the time and monetary value invested in this machine. The price is right. Description of components listed below.
