A BIG RED flag for me was the fact that it is painted with house paint. What kind of person paints a vehicle with yellow house paint? It makes me question what else was done to this vehicle.

But if you are just looking for a shell this may be the truck to save.

Same red flag for me; I bought my pig w/o putting a magnet on it............amazing how much rust fresh paint/bondo and fiberglass will cover :(

How do you open the tailgate with those BIG gawdawful tail lights?

I saw that and was wondering about the taillights??

I've got to learn my Landcruisers better, I didn't even notice the taillight thing. I've been so wrapped up with MG's for the last ten years that's where all my experience is. When I asked about rust and bondo this was the answer I got from the seller:
"Very roadworthy. Was a California car until two years ago. Very little rust but does have a little. No bondo work that I know of. Bought it from a good friend two years ago. It has been in his family since new. "
Everyone has a different interpretation of rust. I grew up in AZ so little rust means some surface rust where the paint has worn off. For example, I just bought an '89 FJ62 with "little rust" from AZ. And for most people this would be a very rust free vehicle because the only rust I found was there's some paint chipped off the inside of the tailgate which now has surface rust.
I emailed him for more photos cause I looked at the photos again and it looks like there's bondo behind the right front wheel.

Wassamattawichu mang? You don't like a little house paint on your ride? Sheet man!

Actually the red flag for me is that this guy is trading a Pig for a Nissan?!?

Nick, I saw this thing in SLC. It was loitering near my sister's house. Never could talk to the owner. Everything they didn't paint with yellow housepaint, they painted with chrome spray paint!

If dieselcruiserhead can't I may be able to. I have to work all weekend, but I should be able to work it in.

I can tell you that just because a funky old car or truck has been painted by brush is not a reason to not look at it. There were/are plenty old hippies that painted their rides with brushes so you never know. The AZ climate is nice to vehicles so you never know til you go look at it.

The house paint actually doesn't bother me. My dad did that to an old Chevy panel truck that he had just to protect the metal. He figured a nice thick coat slate blue was just what it needed. I can't get the seller to email or call me so not sure what the deal is. Guess he's happy with the $1000 bid he's got.
