Thank you everyone. Your comments keep me motivated. It has been a lot of work so far but it has been worth it. Here are some more pics of the power steering and fabrication of pump bracket.

I want to keep it stock as much as a can, only two thinks that I want to change,
Power steering (got it OEM from a 79 FJ55 on ebay) and add floor shifthing(from ebay too),

Since you're adding a few upgrades, I'd also go for front & rear disks as that would be a vast improvement. Looks like an aftermarker wiring harness would be a good  too. You're doing a fantastic job on the body/ undercoating areas. The seats look great too. You going for a two tone paint scheme? Any mild lift, custom bumpers or winch planned? Keep the progress pics coming

Seats look awesome. I have an original PS unit out of my old 79 FJ55. I hope I can remember how it goes back together ;) I took it apart to Cad plate it and then my back problems hit me. I has been sitting in a million pieces since. Keep up the great work, it is nice to see it come together. You in the construction business?

Wow Cesar, the 40's looking great. You don't mess around. I've got all of your LV parts together... the other slide for the front seat, the pivot mounts for the rear seat, and the folding rear seat rests for the top portion. I'll try to give you a call this week and get over there. I need to take some pics of your door and tailgate openings and take some measurements too.

Yes, the seats look great...thank you Gene for them. It's nice to see it coming together, although I'm currently working on my fj40. I'm taking turns....and yes, I'm in the construction business. I'm a grading and drilling contractor.

Hey Gene...It has been a lot of work. It's now a solo job. I dedicate a little of my afternoons to the project. Call me anytime. I'm usually here in the afternoons. You are always welcome here. Thanks for the parts.

I have to sell my LV, make offer. LV still same condition did not do any more work to it.

Cesar, don't do anything before I talk to Gene. He's actually coming to give me a hand on a project... NoHo on Saturday! Give me a shout at the shop tomorrow with your cell ph# and we'll make a point of stopping by to talk to you about the truck.

:)

new mounts

Where did you buy the mounts from? These are for your LV, correct? I need the mounts and the captured rubber also that goes in the captured bolt location areas so I can weld it all back together. Thanks
