I am not sure if this was a commonly available aftermarket rear bumper offered for Fj40's back in the day, but I want one exactly like this. I have ability to build one to match, but wanted to go fishing first because it would save me a bunch of time in the shop I could use for other tasks...

@EWheeler That bumper is the same as what I used the ends of to build the bumper on my 45 project with. I just cut the center out and about 2-3 inches out of the depth to reduce the over hang. Just if you wanted to get an idea of what it sorta looks like, there are pictures in my build thread you may have already seen.

I have the same type of bumper on my 66 shortbed, customized with a swing out tire carrier, hitch and 2 pull points. Awesome bumper and looks great on a shorty or 40. Someone needs to buy this.
