That looks nice!

Did you get the new vacuum hose? Maybe a PCV valve?

See you soon, brother. Glad you're feeling better.

Almost forgot .... here's your innuendo. :hillbilly:

Have not gotten vacuum line yet, was on my list until I got side lined. Gotta grab it today before I get up there.

The PCV valve is less than 6 months old but did feel gunked up a bit, will reuse old for now but replace in near future. Thanks for the help Rice!!

Well its beginning to look like a complete motor again, tons of thanks to Jason, Rice and James. Pretty much worked the biggest part of the night again. I really over estimated my ability to bounce back from sickness now that I am closer to 40 than 30. By 11:00 last night I had absolutely 0 left in my tank, but Jason and Rice kept on wrenching till the wee hours of the morning and were getting pretty close.

Sorry we didn't get to fire it man. I know you'd like to get this elephant done. But it looks great.

Man no apologies necessary from you homie!! I didn't think we'd get near as far as we did. One small bite at a time you know!

As the hour of driving neared the end, Pandora served up a tasty live Allman Brothers rendition of 'where it all began'. With the music cranking and the smell of wood smoke in the air, it was pretty amazing. So thanks for the good times, and letting me provide off topic distractions, slowing you guys down, standing in your way while you're trying to work. I stood strong till 2am then drove an hour home through the boonies 20 minutes of which was with the headlights of a state trooper on my bumper.
Good times..
If nothing else I now feel fairly confident that I can put new a set of injectors in myself with only a few bananas

Some update pics.... Puta II is almost ready for firing. Punch list includes alternator, radiator & hoses, fan, battery box, intake tube, and reassemble the grill. Us old guys just can't wrench like we used to. Got to about 4 am and that was all we had.

I think @jamesurq said something very similar just before the last picture was taken.

That's super flipping fast guys. What's next? There doesn't look to be too much left!

Right up til the last innuendo, I was sad I couldn't get there last night.

He didn't whisper, why can't I quit you, did he?

I swear I wasn't going to post it, but in my mind I was thinking "Brokeback Lawsonville" due to the nature of both the activity and the conversation about it.
