Hello guys,

I am Kev from Topnault. You might have heard us before. We are one of the biggest FJ40 series body parts manufacturers in the world right now. Our product line covers individual panel parts, tubs, and the whole body (All steel). Glasses and rubbers are also covered. We are also retro off-road lovers, so our parts quality and fitting standards are very high. If you have any questions about parts or prices, please contact me, I am more than willing to help you guys and to service, and maintain the FJ community (family). Thank you!!

Cool. So is there a web site I can look at your offerings. My home phone is over the internet and often this time of year with power fluctuations a 5 min call could take hours.
I'm interested in rear 1/4 panels 72 FJ40, ambi door bottoms 76 FJ40 hardtop

Hi Charlie, I will DM you and we can talk about it :) Thank you for asking.

Ay caray!

A lot of the stock Topnault had before isn't available now, is that available soon?

OGKev,

Respectfully, the saying “You never get a second chance to make a first impression comes to mind”.

It wasn’t that long ago Topnault came on scene and said they wanted to offer a comprehensive list of accurate, high quality FJ40 sheetmetal parts. For many enthusiasts, it appeared Topnault was the answer to our prayers.

Except the quality wasn’t nearly what was advertised, or expected. That was especially true for assembled components such as tubs.

People gave you (Topnault) the benefit of the doubt the first time… and Topnault (in my opinion) failed. The first impression that I referenced in my first sentence... was poor.

My response now is you’re talking a good game, but you need to prove it before you EARN any trust.

This "our parts quality and fitting standards are very high” did not prove to be true the first time. But rather than take my word for it, here’s a thread that illustrates very well what I’m saying:

Good of a thread as any to ask:
Do you (or anybody) know if FJ45 roof panels are identical enough that your part will fit what I have? Just eyeballing it, the rear corners look a little different but not a lot.

@OGKev

Would it maybe be better to DM you?

So is this thread supposed to be some sort of announcement that this company will have some semblence of actual customer service and quality control moving forwards?

The value of forums like this is the shared information to all of us enthusiasts and this subject is of particular interest to me, however so far all I'm hearing is "call me, let's talk off line, DM me". I wouldn't know a DM from a BM, I just want to know what you got and how good it is and this is the place to present that.

Hello Kevin, sorry, Kev,

I was one of the initial customers who had issues, but they were resolved, to an astounding level I might add. Had several conversations with Tim and even one with Tim and the “owner” to discuss changing the floor pans from 20/22 gauge metal to 14 gauge.
Amazingly, you did!

You guys came out swinging and many of us were rooting for you. Then the fitment, quality, and customer service issues sprang up. And boy did they spring.

So what happened? What’s changed? Why should we care now?

Maybe start there?

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. This had to be a long story but I'll make it short.

Tim is one of the founders of our US retailer. But he was quit at the beginning of the year 2024. Now James (CEO) and I with a few other co-workers of my are running Topnault right now. When Tim left, he left a lot of problems to us plus we moved our warehouse too so we had a lot of problems and customer reports that we had to deal with. We already improved our parts and fitment quality a lot at the end of last year. I will post some pictures of some improvements.

And yes we are trying to do better and to service the community.

Kevin.

Sorry about that Paul. I will post some pictures of the parts and bodies later. And thank you for your advice on posting!!

Hello matt,

Sorry for the inconvenience that the quality of our parts made for you. Over the last year, a lot has changed about Topnault. We got a new boss, a new warehouse, etc. And we are looking for moving forward and bringing you guys higher quality parts in the future!! And you for understanding!!

Good evening Jay,

Thank you for your advice and your patience. Our new boss and I reported a lot of quality issues with the parts that we sold last year. And the factory side gave us some very positive responses. The quality is not perfect yet but we are still working on it. And sorry for the inconvenience that the parts you purchased before brought you. Here are some pictures that I took at our warehouse over the weekend on our new stock.
