Hey Guys....Its been a long time since I've been on here and i did use the search bar but didn't find anything.....i can't imagine its not on here but haven't seen it if it is. Please direct me to the discussion if so. But why does no one do FJ40 trans swaps with the R151F. or similar? I'm guessing its because there is the H55 that would be easier, but it maybe more costly? I am just getting into the 40 world, but picked up a 1969 with a 3 speed. Just looking for options. Thanks. Any help is appreciated.

+1 its a long trans, the shifter is placed pretty far back as well. why fuss when the h55 is available?
