I was thinking of painting my 71' this color, Prowler orange with my hinges, and front bezel powder coated black. I already have my windshield hinges, hood hinges, rear tail gate door hinges, liscense plate holder and light, latch to lock rear doors, and front bezel all powder coated black. :grinpimp:

I am propably going to paint it the first week of January, if I can get it back together after all the upgrades I have been doing to it.

I wanted it orange and I wanted it to look really nice with black accents. I like it, what you guys think.

P.S.
If any one can post the pick of that orange prowler so you won't have to link to it would be great. I think my office server is blocking it.

I like it, but then again, I like the really bright oranges and yellows. I think they look great on Cruisers. My '71 40 is a really bright obnoxious yellow with most of the trim black. If YOU like it, go for it!

Thanks Max for posting that for me.

The guy at the dupont place said it is no different than the base coats I have been using on some golf carts my friend and I have been spraying on the side. It does have about 45 grams of pearl per quart, or gallon, I don't know, he said it was alot of pearl. But, it would not be any harder to spray.

He could be wrong though. Thanks for the tip

Jeremy
