I real dont know I'll have to do some calls, coz I never done this before...
There is 3 types of shipping ways as you know + 2.5 of the car price have to be paid as fees in the US

Lilke I said I am not really sure how much it ill cost you to be shipped to LA. but I think it has to go to New York port, then you could move it from NY to LA (I think you know the price of this). IF you move a car from Rochester MN to NY it will cost 500$.
Like I said this not my car. The owner asking for 14000$ which I is high it will not give me room for profit

Man are you sure about that.... ? If I buy it for 14K how much money do you think I can do... the problem I have to found a buyer in the US so I can shipp it otherwise I cant send it to the US, Also I have to pay atleast 3000 to get it there but I have to pay car a dealer I know in the US
Do you think If I found good FJ40 will do that for its nice body...I'll wash it and I'll keep it outside my home

Actually, I did not mean a good FJ40 being stripped down. What I meant was an FJ40 which may not be in such good condition... that is possibly sitting around not doing much.
For me, it's cheaper to get in parts from the UAE (especially Dubai) in terms of freight cost.
Have you got any contacts for LC80 parts or would you be interested in shipping these - naturally I do not mind if you make some money on it

So realistically it would cost about 20K to buy it, have it shipped and then delivered to your door....HmmmmI have PM'd you.
I purchased a Mercedes while I was working in Saudi Arabia and had it shipped to New Orleans. Much less than shipping it to California, where I am from. I had to go thru the DOT and EPA and wonder what the regulations are now for importing foreign vehicles. It used to be one in a lifetime, but that may have changed. Has the OP ever shipped anything like this before. Seems to me the owner had to load the vehicle and I don't much feel like taking a flight to the U.A.E.
