It's amazing that you can still buy a brand new Toyota wiring harness (at least for a 1979-1980 FJ45). I bit the bullet and bought one.

- those two part numbers are not the same , one has the letter C in the part #

- see the RH harness has a Forked Terminal on a large gauge black wire w/ red small piece of gloss loom over it at the end , that is a Clue to take note of ...

- there is a difference , but im sure it's minor .... your right the microfiche applications to models are so very close too

A little update on my moms and I progress,
Wiring Harness has been completely mapped out by me and we have ordered wiring, terminals, etc.
I'll attach a photo of the diagram.

Nice progress. I recommend loom wrap or quality auto grade tape. I also used a loom like this after I wrapped mine.
