Hey Rob
Nice work keep it up. What kind of turbo is that KKK ???? I 've been reading alot of turbo related posts. What do you like? Besides the AXT kit.

Swhitzer turbo and I will give my opinion of the unit hopefully today after the exhaust is installed.

I like how the crossover pipe misses the oil filler cap. The AXT crossover makes a funnel a requirement for an oil change. I'm using a turbo that apparently is from a Volvo for the FJ55. It looks very similar to the AXT turbo which should not come as a surprise as both are made by Garrett.

Rob, did you baffle that tank?

TB

You bet ya, three baffles two in one direction and the third across with v grooves for the fuel to flow through bottom and top for air movement.

10 gauge bottom and 14 gauge sides, its a tank and is should withstand the weight of a cruizer on top of a rock.

I will throw a picture of your 60 series tank later today.

Ya... that is a nice feature along with the welded in bungs for boost and piro gauges, installation was smooth and quick.

Only gripe was piping from factory air box to turbo, could be a bit better layed out.

Next question is are you going to retail these kits, and what will the price be? Bout time there were out of the box alternatives in Canada.

Yes they will be available, price still being discussed and will differ on choice of shipping. We think they will be around the 2600.00 Canadian mark.

Its 10PM and we have finished for the day and finished half of what I would of like done.............

Thats par for the course as they say.

New boost gauge with boost and not vacume.

tight bend under the bell housing, I was surprised as the shop had a good bender and there was very little crush in the bends.

New shiny crimper for battery cables plus marine grade cable, the stuff aint cheap and worth every peny IMO.

Next time we will try and blend in the bottom portion of the cover to give it a real factory look.
