Every owner but the driver of the Jeep 4xE owns an FJ40. Ok so only one actualy brought out his 1974 FJ40, but it was a great run in th snow. The Rivian did amazingly well and only needed the FJ40’s 8274-50 a few times to get yanked out from being high centered. Bronco did a amazing too. So much fun having the FJ40 out there! It has the F motor, SM465 and a RoxBox like #003 (its a box of rocks Advanced Adapters no longer makes) This is the poster FJ40 for Metal-tech 4x4 with our Full Profile Cage, fenders and nose guard and stinger.

Great day on the trail.

Great video. Very odd encounter with a police officer.
At the end of the video you can see the power poll that was taken out by someone, that took off. I think the cop was up on the hill after that collecting names and just setting a presence. I support Law Enforcment out on the trails, they are a ways from back up! Good to have them out there to help keep idols from hurting others overall.

I must admit that was the first time I ever saw a Forest Service Law Enforcment officer up on Lo Lo Pass area. Our interaction with him in the end was fine and we all went home w/o any tickets!

It was a great day out-there.

@woody FYI was not sure where to put this video so figured vendor area was safe?

We met a Malheur County cop as we crawled down a primitive double-track out in the Owyhee's (barely in Oregon) on Thanksgiving a few years ago...he actually turned on his lights and made me get out of the vehicle, proceeded to read me the riot act as to why I didn't have a front plate. It's not a requirement in Idaho to run a front plate, but he didn't care where I was from...no ticket but man he was a dick. I've since added the license plate bracket that came with the short-bus bumper and put the front plate on the 80, don't need to give them an excuse to pull you over.
