Everbody know these are worth their weight in gold already
John
Asking $3,500.00 I cant see why?
I would say buy and hold if you have good storage and "extra" money. Decide later what you want to do with it. Another rig will probably come along in a bit...
Oh yeah, there may have been a drive line swap in the past by the looks of the trans hump (cut hole, covered p-brake opening), so check motor mounts and frame cross member...
Thinking of a not so original rig.
Bingo. I was thinking of keeping the body lines and doing a complete resto on todays goodies. Meaning brakes, wheels, tires, textured liner, full cage, GM crate motor with a 5 speed, late model drive train, no frills, basic wiring and so on.Looks like a solid platform to build a nice rig to haul stuff home from home depot.![]()
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide Track! And a doorstrap clip too!
Shane, really depends on what you plan to do with it. Full on restoration would be tough, you're going to need another donor. But youv'e got some of the rare bits like the vacuum wipers for a start. But no wheels and drivetrain are going to be a pain, same with the fuel tank and gas cap. Amazing that something like that front bumper is still there just tossed in the back .
As a resto-mod it would be great, less stuff to swap out.
Either way, if the price is reasonable, snap it up, looks pretty clean. Never know when another one with the right bits may pop up. Besides, we need some more new blood in the 25 section...........
Curious what the VIN is???
It took me some time to get the wide track joke and I just did not see that bumper in there.
And, uhhhh....get that T-bird right side up!
Like I would know???
I like it for what it is, basic!
