So is this one of those New England low rust trucks? Looks like a little POR15 and you should be good to go. You really need to trade the 59 for a hard top FJ25. That way you will have some where to mount the air horns. You really are going to the dark side. I'm at least using a late model FJ40 to do that. I should post a couple of pictures of the 1982 tub and frame I picked up. This isn't one of the no rust Arizona vehicles this one came from Florida. If it had a top or wasn't winter my wife would have probably made me sleep in it:rolleyes:

I can't wait to see how 39" tires match up to the rear wheel well openings on a FJ25. When you going to start your built thread?

Just noticed the 62 in the back ground. Too bad it's sold the air horns would have looked great on it:hmm:

Some of what I have been working on while I have not been here...now looking for a plane to put in it...3,000 ft2!

Gee Phil I was lucky to get my 1,100 square foot garage up at the cabin. Maybe I should move to Montana:hmm: Or find a real job:rolleyes:

I bought my first FJ25 from a guy who kept it in a hanger. He rented the hanger from the city of Phoenix and wasn't suppose to keep anything other than his air plane in there. Since you own yours can you store vihicles in the back? Looks like a great place to keep them out of the weather. Biggest problem with owning so many is figuring out how to keep them from rotting away until you can get to them:frown:

On the road again for two days................go wild in the 25 forum guys.

This thing never had so much attention since its been sitting on the trailer for two weeks. Someone stopped at the house today, wanted to buy it.

So when did you move Jim? I know that can't be in CT, there is no snow on the ground. Here's a link to a highway camera near my cabin here in sunny AZ. No night vision so you have to look at it during day light hours. It ony updates a couple of time a hour. But in on the real time non of that sissy day light saving stuff:rolleyes:

ADOT's Rural Weather Information System

Liquor would have helped. I just installed a windshield by myself. the rope trick didnt work too well with only one pair of hands. I had to resort to inching the gasket in with a small screwdriver. It took a while, but its in!!

LOL

no, but this will:

OK,

Mike hasn't followed the rules and messed up the 25 count thread..........

Johnny is posting you tube videos................

There's more snow in AZ at John's place than mine (last pile melted while I was gone)...................

And the most popular thread in the 25 section is still a 40. :)

 I should go away more often.

:bang: Trip back through NYC was overall uneventful but hellish.............went to hit my ten year old half bottle of rum Saturday night and it tasted like weak mouthwash.

man I suck, sorry.

SO how was the trip? Where are the pictures?

No worries Mike, that's how we find more. I moved them to the Help Count the 25's Thread. No pictures yet, rolled it off into the garage and haven't done a thing yet.

Road trip pictures. Grandson next to a new Oshkosh MATV and next to a real four wheel drive...................you can tell which one he likes better.;)
