I just noticed that the 25 Owners Group passed it's two year mark a month ago...there must be some important statistics to note,

Yeah, how about the first guy to post in the section didn't even own a 25! The esteemed TLCA prez Alan L.

Scary personal stats: I joined MUD on 12/3/02, so for a year or two before I must have been on PBB and the SOR board.............maybe I'll have to drop the bit about "just recently got back into cruisers".

I've had someone's top held hostage about a year or so longer than any reasonable man would tolerate. :o

My first post now squirreled away by Woody in some obscure thread ;) :

I think that I've actually completed that list (one way or another through the forum). Thanks Woody!

Damn. Digging in the parts pile in the pitch black for 70eb and rousted a bee's nest. They usually aren't too swift after dark.......................took about 5 hits before it clicked...........hey! I'm getting stung by bees..............

And don't think I never appreciate the effort:)

OK folks.............I'm off on the Florida road trip for a week...........try not to burn down the house while I'm away. :D

In the group of Higher Powers known as The Cruiser Gods is there one specific God in charge of 25s? Just wondering, as I have a few "thanks" to send out and just wanted to personalize them a bit.

Pictures to follow!:D

I take 10's and 20's, also FJ25 rims. ;).......................since I can be bought, doubt I'm a deity............:D

Cruiser Carma came my way....

Wow. 60-63.................... Wonder who might want to look thru that one:beer:

I've never had a chance to look at the early 40 book. Where did these holy tablets appear from? :D

Yeah, the '61 40 book is very interesting...it still has the old part numbering system system like the 25's, so at a glance you can tell if the part is 40 specific or carried over from the 25/28/35 bins....for example a 1961 FJ45L's frame part number is FJ35L 51100...any 40, 43, or 45 in '61 had a front bumper, part number FJ25 51311..

Now I need the old-to-new part number secret decoder book so I too can bug parts managers for unobtanium...

Oh, and 70Eb, even though you sport 40 wheels, you still need the 25 lug nuts, part number FJ20 42481....have you checked?:)

Good find on that parts book!!!! I'll check my sources on the conversion to new part # Well the big question here is--------I need the part # for the T-Bird hood emblem and the wiper motors. Oh yea, the HTH padlock, front heater, vacuum switch for wipers on dash, rubber gaskets behind headlights, and soft-top canvas, and a steering wheel and turn signal switch, the little chains for the soft-top doors, winker assy, the brass screen for the fuel filter for the inlet pipe for the gas tank. I'll think of more parts later. John#3 Pardi

Sweet Score Phil. I have both of those too. The fj25 manual sports the 10 digit parts codes. At least mine does. The book is dated july 63 on the cover. THe 61 parts book is useless to me. It's all 5 digit code but since mine was well used the parts guys wrote all the later #'s next to the old ones. For me the 64 book I have as well is just about the same as the 61 and has all the 10 digit part codes and of which covers alot of 25 items too if you know what your looking at.
