Note to self, don't wheel the company truck!!!

At least not with me! Almost got rid of the damn thing for good though. :D

So Jim is this truck equiped with nice BEEP BEEP BEEP when you backup. If not it probably should be. Did you get a ride home and pull it out with your winch on the 25:rolleyes: ? Five years ago I backed my 68 FJ40 off of a forest service road during a elk hunt. Of course that was in the dark with the small reverse light and the vehicle fogged up. My vehicle ended up at least 45 degees angle and on top of a large boulder. It was able to get back on the road by itself. Well almost by itself, I needed a big pine tree for the PTO winch. This year I'm going to use the 100, better revese lights and rear window defroster, oh and don't forget the heated seats and CD player. In 2001 I got to spent a week in a tent, this year I'm going to have to suffer and spent it at the cabin. Hot shower every day, satellite TV it's going to be ruff:rolleyes:.

John

John,

I'll be worried if you get one of those 12V coffee pots and a microwave for that 100. Next thing you'll be getting cloth seat covers to protect your leather seats. Does your lumbar work good in that thing? Mine seems to be 50/50 that it actually works. Junk. Not like a 25 or even a 40, seats need a little support ................. just slip a piece of oak inside the cushion. :D

John, When you are enjoying that shower, just feel guilty that you are not looking for some vacuum wiper parts. Have a nice vacation---John#3

No 12V coffee maker, that sounds like too must work. I get up early enough to to have my fill before leaving in the morning. No microwave either. But the cloth seat covers are already installed. Not to protect the though. I just like cloth better. I did check to make sure the seat heater worked ok with the covers. It was 48 degee here in Phx this morning. The lumbar is just fine. After all this years of using leaf spring cruisers I could probably sit on a five gallon pale turned upside down and get a better ride in the 100. I should think about remote start so I don't have go outside to get the vehilce warmed up:rolleyes:

So John III are you still looking for vacuum wiper parts? I haven't for got about them. It still looks like you still got a while before you will be driving that in the rain. I'm still in the market for early hub caps (hint hint).

John

He seems to be fresh out of hubcaps.
Actually I have not picked out the ones for the project old fart yet out of the stack yet. So right now I don't have any extras. Since I get alot of calls for them, mabye a small raffle would be fair for all? Rather than E-bay. John#3

So, ummm, Cruiser_Nerd...when did you loose your green star? Have we not posted enough? Not caused enough trouble to deserve a crosswalk guard?;p

No green star? Woody can't fire me, I quit. Seriously, don't know. It went away a long time ago when Woody made some changes, not sure if it had been back again since. I must not be in it for the glory. ;)

Hey Jim and Mike, Just met one of your old wheeling buddies, Al Romero, dropped in at our Toys On The Rocks Christmas party last weekend. Hope to see him on the Hangtown Hangover Run on New years day, and we'll introduce him to the Rubicon Trail this spring. John #3 (Pardi) Placerville, California
