Fj-62 transfercase?

Question for you guys with FJ-62's. Do any of you know if a transfercase from a FJ-62 with a 3FE will bolt up to a early 80 series with a 3FE to make it a part time transfer case? I have this posted in the 80's section, but not getting many replies.

transfer cases are completely different, however you could replace the transmission and transfer, but you would be going backwards in reliability

I think the fj-62 uses same trans as a 91-92 fj80 as long as its a automatic. (A440f) I believe? The 93 or 94 and up 80 series use the electronic controlled auto trans.

FJ62 is the same transfer case as the '85 and later FJ60 split case with some very slight differences. I do not know if it will hook to a 3FE but it will easily hook to a H55
