I deserved your comment. I usually have a go at it but am currently Very short on time and the sound of the chickens behind the dash is driving me nuts.

I had another’90 fj62 prior to this one and I replaced the entire cable because it snapped off at the speedometer. I’m trying to prevent that from happening again. That and quiet the chickens.
