Finished up the air intake hoses and moved the fuse box down the fender some to make room for the evap canister. Fabbed up a bracket for the canister to slip into that bolts to the fender, which allows the sensor connection and hose connections to be made easily.

Found some gasket material at Napa that is 1/16" thick and designed for fuel pump use. So I cut out a gasket and a hole in the tank, before bolting it down to the tank. The hard section of the fuel pump sits about 1/2" from the tank bottom and the sock section can flex down enough to touch the bottom.

take a pice of the material you cut out an immerse it in a container of fuel c how it does.
if it swells& deforms like I think it will.
go to acadian a rubber & gasket on Simcoe they can fix ya up.
Submersed a couple of pieces in gas for at least three hours without any changes to the material, but if Larry can spare 5"x8" section of the other one I can make a spare.
