I disassembled my new $50 rear-end due to the fact there was rust and metal shavings everywhere. I cleaned it out, and re-assembled it as best as I could. I tried turning it, and it didnt want to turn as easily in one spot. I just knew there was more to it. I asked a friend, and he gave me these questions to ask. Im

-I need to know the exact measurements for the pinion resistance with the ring gear installed and when its out.

-I need to know how to measure run-out exactly and the specs.

-I need to know what a regular wear-pattern looks like.

Is there a write-up on this on the net, or something? I sooo need help right now!

Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
