2008 LX 570, 200K+ miles, when passing over speed bumps or washboard roads, the rear end makes a rattling sound.
I tried lubricating all the bushings with WD-40 silicone grease, but the noise still exists.
Finally, it was located on the stabilizer link, which less than $100 dollars to replace all rubbers and bushings, and took 1 hour.
I tried replacing the entire stabilizer link at first, but when the aftermarket parts arrived, I found the quality was so poor, the OEM Toyota was 30%+ thicker than the aftermarket. So I gave up on aftermarket part and bought the some Toyota rubbers and bushings, which was butter smooth after reinstalling it.
The rubber on the side of the bushing worn out. Washboard roads cause repeated metal-to-metal impacts between the stabilizer bar and the small stabilizer link.
This $3 little tool from Harbor Freight helps lots.
