last summer when the f engine went out in my cruiser I was on the fence about what to do. well, decided on a 3fe. so far so good, fuel and electrical is rigged at the moment but it started and idled today.
things left to do
install pilot bearing and trans/transfer case
mount the fuel pump and plumb lines
clean up and finish wiring
make brackets for power steering..
