Now that the steering box is mounted and my kit came in from PSC and this truck never had power steering which port is the inlet and which port is the outlet? This is a job I have never done before and I don't want to have reverse flow. You would think the ports would be marked.

Now I get to figure out where to put the cooler and the reservoir. I am thinking about removing the Bib and removed the old radiator mounts and setting the cooler there in front of the radiator.

That was what I was thinking too
But not 100%

Looks like in this graphic the low pressure is on the inside. I ordered two #64s and will use one to feed the cooler and use HP connections for the other one to connect to my PSC components.

Low pressure is on the inside, high pressure is closest to the fender on a mounted steering box. When I did my conversion, I used a small transmission cooler on the return line between the box and resivior, mounted it just behind the Toyota emblem on top of the grill support, you can barely see it in this picture. Worked great for several years now. Good luck, this conversion was the best upgrade I ever did in my FJ40. 👍

I am mounting my cooler on the old radiator support mounts behind the grill. I picked up some 3/16 flat bar to cut and drill for bolt holes. I can close the Bib and air can still get to the bottom of the exposed radiation.

the ports are actually different thread sizes so you can't hook them up backwards. Pressure/Feed is M16x1.5. Return is M17x1.5

Hopefully the ones in the kit are right.
The sent me a pump that I didn't order and wanted a photo to prove I got it.

Good to know since there are not instructions to set this system up because it is not a Jeep.

I did too until I checked SOR.
I got my parts from PSC and they don't provide even a general schematic for flow.
I made one up and had it completely wrong. But eventually checked instructions for a Jeep set up that supplied the HP hose from the pump to the HP port of the steering box. So I redid my schematic to get the flow right.

I just have to figure out the placement of the reservoir now I am running out of room as it finished the charge air and I am working on the water side.
