So I talked to Larry last night. Had a really good conversation with him. We talked about a lot of stuff but mostly cruisers. Larry is 65. He flew helicopters for a long time in Canada. He kinda wants to sell the 55 because it has no power steering and it's hard on his elbows. He bought it about 12 years ago from someone in Spartanburg. His son drove it for a while and from my conversation used it a lot for what it was designed for. Blew the 2f in it, put all the body dents in it. From my conversation with Larry and what he said about his son I think he is no longer with us. From what I can tell his son was in his early 20's.

So about the pig.

76
350 LT1 with about 7500 miles on it. It's new not rebuilt.
700r Tranny that has just been rebuilt
AA adapter.
4 wheel disk brakes
new tires
Body in somewhat rough condition but restorable
Interior has a new headliner but worn
Thats about all I know.
He says he has had it up to 100mph with no issues.
Will drive 70 all day long.

So basically it's a sleeper.

Will try to go drive it friday.

He wants 5500. Which is less than what the engine and tranny is worth.

Not true. You can buy good LT1 engines for $1500 or less, and the 700R4 transmissions can be had for $500.

Not trying to be an ass, just pointing out what the real world value of the Cruiser is.
