Saw this today while getting dog food after work. Didn't know they came in any other color than red.

Very much liked the look and the color. Not crazy about the Rock Warrior wheels but whatever.

Started on the front last night. Got most of the way done before I called it quits, I have a nasty neighbor that will take any opportunity to complain so when I was still banging on things at 10pm I figured I was better off avoiding issues. Rest will be buttoned up today.

Overall gained me just about 2" all around. Gonna remeasure everything in a week or so and go through and retorque after a couple hundred miles. God I love this truck!!

Ahhhhhhhhh

& after the springs get used a bit, they settle down a bit, and the shackle angles get better, & the ride gets smoother.

Yup that is the plan!!! I rest bit of a wheeling trip will be next weekend.

So went and got the front end aligned yesterday and truck is driving pretty good. I could feel a slight rumbled from the alignment being off so $50 later she is better now.

However yesterday I was checking the oil and noticed that the lower oil cooler hose is pretty swollen. I am sure it is probably the original so question is, whether the hose is still available and if anyone has tackled before. If so, how involved is it.

Yes, all the oil cooler hoses are still available (or at least they were 6 months ago). I recently replace all of mine. Really easy.

Don't remember which PN it is. One of these three.

Ok cool... I was just looking on toyotapartsoverstock.com and it made it seem like they are still available..
@beno Onur are the two hoses in the above diagram 15777 and 15777A still available?

Toyotaoverstockdotcom makes it seem like everything is available.

The website is not up to date
Oh yeah I know that... I usually just use it for part number referencing and whatnot... Don't think I have actually bought anything from them..

Got lucky this weekend and won brand new OEM 1996-2002 4Runner wiper arms, blades, caps and nuts for $55 shipped off ebay. Got them on last night and definitely seems to make a difference.

^^
tell me more about those wiper arms.

Are they a direct fit?
Direct swap in?

My wipers aren't looking so hot.

Even the parts numbers are incorrect and don't show the most current supersession.

Yeah, the website is kind of a nightmare. I used to use them for drawings and PN lookup, but ran into too many instances of screw ups.

I even ordered stuff from them (once). It was a bigger order. I didn't get my stuff for 6 weeks and they shipped a few wrong parts.

I learned my lesson.

Just did 97 4runner arms(same ds and ps), blades and cover. Direct bolt on, they work GREAT. I was worried they may not look correct on an old 60, but they look the part . My old OEM arms and blades were less than a year old, driver side just was not clearing the window well anymore, why I dunno, but I tried to adjust them many time.

These puppies are well worth it

Yeah I was having the same issue with the passenger side not clearing and then the drivers would occasionally not want to either. Of course it was right through my line of sight. I think the guy sent me the wrong nuts as they wanted to cross thread so I just used old ones and they worked fine even with the covers. I will post up a pic later.
