I ended up with fj steelies for the moment. As soon as this thing gets it's first couple of shake down runs I'll be adjusting things and a set of h1's are still in the cards. Thanks for the report back.
 
some updates

Allright, so it went for it's first drive since I have owned this rig.:steer: All crucial systems run great. Heres a few pics of the bed liner and the primed body. The painter has a numberr of the body panels and will take the truck this weekend!!!!

I used left over material from my lins and from the cage. The barrel hing has a perfect 1" opening so i used a 1" od .75" id bronze bushing and a .75" bolt. It uses stock bolt locations but I drilled out the hing side to accept 7/8 grade 8 bolts. There are 4 7/8" bolts and two 1/4 20 bolts that again use stock bolt locations to mount the brake lamp. On the other side just a drawhasp wwelded to a piece of angle that was plasma'd into a little saddel to catch the crossbar so it does not crash into the truck. The hasp was the most expensive thing. It has two drw points on the hasp which helps with the tortion. It's totally bomber and won't crack like a spindel.
