First post updated with 28,000 asking price.

No offense but that's hilarious! Edmunds puts the dealer retail at over $10k less than the asking price. I think the dealer retail is a little low compared to what he could probably get for it, but I'd be shocked if it was anything over $20-$21k. People way, way overvalue these things and then they sit for months without moving but a well priced one sells in hours.

Thanks so much for your in depth analysis. As stated, this is a Feeler thread. I'll mark your feelings as " Not Interested at that price".

Dang, also I feel your price is way high. Start at 24K or so. GLWS.

quick market snapshot

fyi and FWIW...I'm watching the 2004 - 2006 market very closely since I am looking to replace my 2002 LC. Data point: 2006 LC with 86K - sold at Sterling McCall in HOU at $21,500. Super clean and excellent carfax with maint history. Posted for about 8 hours.

I bought a cherry 04 with only 60k miles for 24k over 4 years ago. I'd say it's high at that price as well.

Yeah, I think his response is a valid 'feeler.' Furthermore, I concur with his range, would say the min-max would be 19-23k.

Are you throwing in something extra we're not aware of?

Mark me down as not interested at 28K too.

I just bought a, semi-built, 2006 LC (OME lift, ARB front bumper, winch, Slee sliders, radar, in-seat rear LCD) for $21,500. The rig is in great shape with 95k miles on it. I've been looking for more than a year and the price for this vehicle should have been in the mid-20s (and that would be a good deal). A dealer friend of mine recently sold an 06 LX470 with 76k miles for $26,500.

So if I am reading this correctly, he might be a little high ? Lol...thanks for all the replies. I get it.:worms:

Its got low miles, and assuming it has absolutely 0 rust, and every single thing on the truck works (including things like the subwoofer and all speakers etc..) and if the carpets are spotless and leather is clean and soft, I wouldn't take a penny less than 26k and I would absolutely start at 28k. that being said you'll have to deduct money for every item that's not in really excellent shape. it all depends on what the other Land cruisers look like in your area. if your in the salt belt and your's is super clean.. its worth WAY more than the rest for sale.

Now, if its only normal condition, its got a light ding or two or a light scrape in places, the carpets have been used in winter the engine is a little dirty etc.. you'll need to set your sights lower, in this case just because of the millage I would start around 24 and take around 21.5 for it.
