Just checking to see if any 80 people from the Northern NJ area are interested in going to paragon in about a month or so. One of my buddies just got his first 80 (we talked him out of a HEEP) So we need to school him as to how capable his 80 really is.

call if you are interested.

hmm, east coast 80s run huh? :)

too bad Paragon is on the other side of the freakin world from me.

I may be in as well. Keep us posted.

mind if a 40 tags along?

I've been wanting to get back there before the year ends.

For some of the members that are further away, IMO, paragon is worth a drive for some who have never been. I know several guys that come up from S. Virginia area..... 6-8 hrs. It really has plenty of "everything". How would the Saturday after Thanksgiving be?

You might add a post in the GCLC message board on Yahoo and find Yankee Toys. Both clubs have several 80's and other wagons, most of which have been to Paragon multiple times.

I agree with BrokerBob, Paragon is worth the trip. I prefer Rausch Creek because most trails are tight and make wheeling an 80 a nice challenge and they do a better job of marking the trails. That said Paragon offers a larger park with a huge variety and several levels of difficulty.

I wish I was still in NJ because I miss wheeling the PA parks.

unfortunately as the week poes on our weekends are clogging up like a michelin LTX in the MUD ;-)
we are contemplating having an impromptu weekend in january or february @ this point, Bringing up our trailer (using it as a basecamp type of thing with some chow and power, coffee etc. )
We are a Porsche shop and we are not doing this with the idea of garnishing new business.
just looking to have some fun with some cruiser guys, and by all means any generation of cruiser is welcome. We really would like to do this and have a good time If enough people are going to commit I will make the reservation @ paragon for a weekend in january or february.

Please E-mail me @
1984urq@gmail.com if you are interested in this and we can go from there.
(we have to let one Dodge in as that is Our tow vehicle for our 37ft trailer)

ok well I will come up with a date in jan feb by tuesday of next week and we can go for that if every one is good with the above posted idea.

How about a 100? :grinpimp:

I gotta check with the boss.

How stock is the new 80 going to be. I'd be game, but I busted my exhaust and got a flat tire last weekend at Paragon. There's a limit to how understanding my wife can be.

Mine is 33" tire OME 2.5 heavies and and a homegrown front bumper and a few wheeling dents, the new guy has TJM front and rear and may I stress may have 33 BFG AT by then, attempting to guage this in an ABC type of levels A being the tough stuff C being fire roads etc.. this will hopefull be a c-b ride not much more. I have never been to paragon, also Keep in mind this NOT an organized event you can go with the group of us or if you are more talented you can grab your buddies and go for the tought stuff. We are gonna bring the trailer up so we have a home base to drink coffee and hang in if the weather is chitty out.
it will be an easy run as most of us need tro drive our rigs home!

And As I said before

ANY LANDCRUISERS ARE WELCOME EVEN TACOMA'S AND 4 RUNNER'S

Newbie screw up. Got the 80s run at Paragon off the GCLC list. Instead of responding to the current post, I started a new post. I have a 96 FZJ80 with 35s, Lock front and rear. I am interested in the Paragon run.
