I was also wondering the same or are we slipping back into the traditional way of planning things:lol:

You mean the planning starts after we get lost..:hillbilly:

Saturday morning, we will be meeting at the Chevron station (formally known as Ba'Ja) on the Beeline on the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation at 9 AM. We will be heading towards Punkin Center and taking A Cross road over towards our planned campsite at Coon Creek.

This is a weekend when hunters are expected to be out, so depending on crowds we might alter our actual camping spot. I expect that we could be making camp around noon or slightly after. This should be a great weekend, weather is perfect.

Be sure to post daily affirmations that the run is still on. :)

Maybe better to have one post in the morning, and another one in the evening?

Do we need to bring any firewood? I have some that I could bring if needed.

Bring it ~ those camping spots have been around for a while and Im sure wood isnt plentiful.

Is there anybody going on Sat afternoon?

We'll all meet you somewhere the trail. Since you're such a fast driver, it'll be like having the trail all to yourself.:bounce::bounce2:

Have fun! I'll be at the Scout Camporee off the Florence-Kelvin hwy., If it sucks, we'll pile the boys in and go see the Coke Ovens...

Had a great time camping, wheeling and visiting the ruins.

Thanks Saddle tramp for speaking up for February and for a successful well planned event.

I understand that Heidi took 200 pictures so I'm thinking my couple are not worthy.
