I'm getting some ticking noise that sounds like a fan thats bad coming from the infotainment system. Did a little googling but didn't come up with anything specific to the 200. Anyone have any info on these fans and if they can be replaced? I'd hate to have to replace the whole thing.

My rear a/c fan developed an annoying sound, as if a piece of paper was stuck in fan blades and scraped every time fan rotated.

I took it to the dealer today for the 2nd time and told them I want it fixed. Especially since I have an Extended Warranty.

Came back today and they said they have to order a brand new fan for rear A/C. I don’t buy that the fan is bad, I’m betting that they’d rather replace it than find out where the noise is coming from and repair it.

Hopefully this works!

Ive got a similar sound on my 13 LX. Haven't looked into it much yet.

Same here 2015, coming up on 30k mile service. Will have addressed then. Just started 2 days ago, after about 5 minutes of driving it goes away. Not to worried I have 40 months of bumper to bumper warranty remaining:)

First get down under the dash / footwel on the passenger side. Look up There are three push tabs to undo the kick plate. Take that off and youll see a white plastic thing. Thats the blower motor. Turn on your air / heat. On the bottom center of the blower motor is a black round sticker about the size of a nickel. Lightly push on that and see if te noise stops. If so then replace your blower. Its $125 or so and pretty easy to replace.
If thats not it then Best of luck

The dealer fixed my noise that sounded like a bearing going out of a fan behind the infotainment system on the dash. It was a post it note stuck under the drivers seat.

I have a 2014 and had to have the HDD drive for entertainment system replaced. I did this under an warranty. I thought it was AC blower, but it ended up being the fan bearing for the cooling fan for the hard drive system. NOT CHEAP.... sorry, but I have seen many folks with this coming around..... hope that helps
