******SOLD******
I bought this Land Cruiser with sincere plans to swap in an LS 5.3 v8, hence all of the extra love I've been giving this rig. Then I came to realize that, although I have the skills, with a toddler and baby, I just don't have the time it would take to complete the swap. Then it was time for emissions last week and it failed. I've had intermittent CEL's, but none at the time of testing so this caught me off guard. The estimate for repairs is more than I'm willing to spend and since I'm no longer doing the LS swap, it has to go. My loss could be your gain as this is a REALLY nice Cruiser all around.
There is some minor wear showing on the driver's seat where entry & exit typically wear a seat down, however, they have been re-bolstered, which improved the seat cushioning in the entry & exit area.
A few special features of this Land Cruiser are the heated seats and PFRAN LED interior light & backup light upgrade. (www.pfranleds.com), 4 Bhicks 3D printed cup holders (www.bh3dprinting.com) along with a few custom items listed below and last, but not least, some excellent sun visors out of a '94 Chrysler Concord to replace the worn out factory junk.
The good:
1. It's an 80 series Land Cruiser
2. It has the factory installed front & rear differential lockers (diff locks)
3. Front axle knuckles rebuilt at 217,700 miles (this work is often neglected)
4. New tie rod and tie rod ends (steering) also at 217,700 miles
5. Newer tires, including a full size spare 285/75R16 Cooper AT's (approx 70% tread)
6. New windshield and OEM Toyota window seal (no leaky knock-off seal here)
7. Newer battery installed 2/1/15
8. Battery terminals & wiring upgraded
9. New OEM fusible links
10. OEM Reman'd starter installed 5/16/15
11. Cloth interior (no cracked or torn leather!)
12. Aftermarket heated seats installed 1/4/16 - These are AWESOME!
13. 3rd row seating
14. Keyless entry & factory alarm
15. Power windows & locks
16. Custom cut Hexomat floor mats
17. Kenwood Excelon KDC-X597 stereo (Bluetooth, Pandora, Sirius, MP3, USB, Hands free phone, etc.)
18. Polk Audio speakers (8 speaker system)
19. Cobra 18 WX STII CB
20. Dual sun visor set out of a '94 Chrysler Concord
21. Man-A-Fre 30mm (1.18in) coil spacers
22. Custom aftermarket roof rack included
23. Spare tire lift modification
24. New hood & hatch lift struts
25. Air Lift air bags for handling camping gear
26. Body is 99% rust free*
The not-so good:
1. It won't pass Colorado emissions. Estimate for repairs is $4,200 from the Toy Doctor in Denver, Co.
2. Oil leak. It goes through about 1qt every 1,000 miles.
3. Very minor surface rust on rear underside of the vehicle (see pictures)
4. A couple of very small rust spots on the rear hatch & one on the hood.
5. Antenna does not move up & down as it should, but it does work with some manual assistance.
6. Minor hail damage on drivers window sill trim
Asking $4,000. Clean title in hand. Cash only.
