Hey guys/gals,

Any recommendations for a place to get some factor 55 gear. I think we might have some people on here that sells that stuff but search was no luck.

I've bought direct and on eBay. Great products, you'll love their gear.

I bought direct from them. Extremely well made/engineered products!

I buy direct, 10% factory discount. It’s their way of not loosing money with resellers. Which I cannot blame them one bit for that.

Factor 55 also sells through Amazon...
Other resellers there also, but Factory 55 distributes there if you check the source before ordering.

Might be nicer to order direct from 55’s web site though. Bezos has enough dough...

After shopping around, an Amazon reseller had a better deal for me. It truly depends on where you can get the better price.

You may have gotten a better price from some reseller on amazon, now ck and see if they spelled Factor 55 correctly.

I guess this is the ultimate question for anything purchase through non-originating vendor sites. I believe mine to be authentic though, so I'm satisfied. Good input though, thank you.

I’d buy direct and not take the chance of getting a knockoff.... that is unless you think everyone on Amazon and eBay are trustworthy.

I bought mine from the showroom at Slee👏

That being said, knowing not everyone is next to a shop like that - buying direct or from a location that will support/service if needed is worth a few bucks to me.

Buying direct they will offer a military and first responder discount as well.

Curious, what do y'all think about the Warn Sidewinder and and Hyperlink in relation to Factor 55's hardware?

I am sure that it's quality stuff and works as advertised but at this point they are playing from behind in that arena as Factor55 has been doing this for a while now. I still have some Warn straps and snatch blocks. My recovery gear is made up of Warn, Factor55, ARB, and Bubba Ropes items.

I e-mailed them asking about a military discount.

On a side note: Who's bought into their closed system winching? I can see where the hook may come out under less than taught situations but what's the reality there?
