anyone running this combo and if so how long is you rear shaft??? Also pix of how it fits??

Your questions do not have an absolute answer..

A) Wheelbase is a variable. You need to know how far back the rear axle has been pushed.
B) What adapter between the 203 and the SM265? Stock Chevy?

With shackles relocated as far back as possible and non flipped springs on a SUA 40, a 2F/465/203/4speed case combo with a factory 465-203 adapter and an AA 203-LC case adapter fits but the driveshaft is extremely short at about 14.5" static. I believe total wheelbase stretch for the rear came to about 5 1/2".

Dude...did ya LOOK at my thread!?!?!?!?
Vortec, 4L60E, 203, split case.
IIRC that is MUCH LONGER set up than the 2F with 465. I did have to kick the rear suspension as far back as I could get it, but it can be done. My rear shaft is 27 in.

I did have to cut off ALL the hangers and relocate them. Its quite a bit of work, but all in all not that hard.

Pic for reference.
As ive been told (here) is the minimum working drive shaft length that is "safe" is about 18 in. That is what I was shooting for.
So the last pic is where the rear axle ended up.
I also should mention that I used flipped 60 series springs in the rear so that netted a bit more rearward positioning.
Ruff stuff SOA kit will also get you a few more inches either direction you wanna go.

Yap...but it FITS!
That is what Im saying about the set up Rayjon wants to run. Itll be MUCH shorter than what I have. As I recall, the 2F motor is a bit longer than the vortec, but the 4L60E KILLS the 465 in the length department. That is where the space savings is for him. That is not to say that he wont have some massaging to do with the springs to make it jive, but...point is, it CAN be done...with some effort.

thanks Chicago that helps... and I hate to admit it but I haven't had a spare week to read your thread...:D:D:D If it helps I did read the rear bumper thread. and I owe you a beer....

Yeah....its a pretty long winded build thread.
There has been a LOT done on this thing.
