I have an extra hazard switch to install as a CDL.

I was pulling the jumper wire out of the CDL harness plug.

The wire pulled out of its connectors, which are still inside the plug.

Ie two of the slots in the plug have metal in them now, and i cannot get needlenose pliers in there to pull them out. Any ideas?

aren't all/most of these metal inserts removable?
IIRC on some you have to insert a thin tool, pry a latch, and it comes out?

hmmm.... in fact, isn't that how you are supposed to remove the wire?

The foam is off, the wire is out. Two connectors are not (did not come out with the wire). That is the problem.

HOW do you get these little fawkers out?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

50000 watts of  just flickered.

I never removed all of the foam crap, just what I thought had to be removed to get the switch installed.

I never noticed (until now) that there is another connecter that the jumper wire plugs into that clips on the actual wiring harness plug.

Thanks.
