I would post this in the general 40 tech section but it is the f in my 45. Plus all of the cool guys hang out here.
The original f in my 45 has stumped two mechanics here in Augusta... they both have told me that my engine is likely seized up. I have started this engine five or six times in the past few months and it sounded extremely smooth. The engine did seem to turn, stop, turn, stop, and finally fire up. It seemed almost tight. Prior to starting it the first time, I ensured that I slowly hand cranked it several rotations.
So, my mechanic told me this horrible news. I went by his shop the other night and I removed the spark plugs and was able to spin the fan although difficult. The belt seemed not to move with the rotation. He was not there at the time, so no key to try it myself. Wtf? Starter? Water pump? Alternater? Thanks.

Yeah JP, I have it at a mechanic off of Washington Rd. Let me know and maybe I can drag it a couple more miles to your place. I can bring all of my post-superbowl beer leftover from our sb party.
