Slowly, everyone else awoke from their brisket comas and stumbled out of bed. The fire was rebooted to chase off the chill...

Andy had already fired up the coffee bar...

So I made myself a cup which, of course, initiated the #2 sequence. So I found the dopest possible view (for me) that was out of view for Taylor...

We headed to Las Cruces, mostly by gravel, where we would fuel up, food up, and pick up a few items from the hardware store in preparation for the upcoming probing of #ETAF later in the evening.

These pics have nothing to do with any of that other than they were taken en route...

We said goodbye to PMC at Las Cruces and knocked the dust out of our air filters before heading to the White Sands National Monument.

It might be another stretch before I can post the next installment, so to keep you in suspense, here’s a very small taste of what happens later:
