No direct comparison here but I think Perry does some solid videos with information on his vs other options. I have the Perry parts on my rig and they have held up great. Save a few bucks and go for it, definitely an effective option
 
just to make sure I'm understanding with the bump stops before I place an order, the extended versions are what would be needed with the Japan 4x4 AHC shock spacers (to limit over-compression), correct?

and the options needed on the Perry's would be to select the larger tire size version of the front spacers, and the "extended travel" stops on the rear?

i have tremendous respect for Patrick Perry. I see him swapping axles and building suspensions. He really knows the real world side of it.

I'm not sure if this answers your question but even with a bit of a lift in the rear ( I sit at about 22" hub to fender ) I felt the extended travel rears were a bit too much and most rigs would benefit from the standard length. Unless maybe your doing some extreme crawling and have big tires stuffed in there, that you don't want to rub, then I believe the standard rear length is the best bet.

As for the front, I think its suggested to just swap the rear set first and see how it feels.

Check out the OEM compared to the extended rears. Oh and remember, don't be an idiot like me and rush. Soak those old rusty bolts in the rear, crud in the frame has made them delicate. I snapped 3 of my 4 bolts before having to pay someone to repair and install my originals back on lol so I never did get the rears installed

Are you running the Japan 4x4 AHC shock spacers? I've hit bump stops on stock AHC (high position) during our summer vacation, so not wanting to bottom out my shocks is a legitimate concern. Went with the extended stops, we'll see how it goes.
