does anyone know where the extended brake lines go in any of these diagrams? like can i just put the part number in one of these diagrams so i know where it goes or is there a thread on here that has done this?
they don't correspond to an actual 80 series AFAIK so even looking them up in the fiche means i need the list that shows which standard length one it is replacing of that makes sense.
THANKS

extended lines usually only apply to the line(s) between the frame & axle to cater for suspension articulation?
yeah i kind of asked about this a million times. then went back and forth on stainless or not (not). i could never get an answer on it so i ordered the extended brake line list joey was kind enough to list on his site at some point.
but since they are not labelled as to where they go i was going to nail it down.
but you are saying the frame to axle only have to be longer?
and the axle to caliper housing original parts numbers for the 80's?
because if i still have my documentation or could find it i am pretty sure joey had this list for the kit he sold.

The axle housing to calliper lines stay the same length.
hey. thanks a lot. i had trouble getting answers on this for a long time. but on joeys site i swear these were the part numbers for his kit.
you are saying these should be stock length?
so i guess i need to verify these are the stock numbers? sorry i guess i thought all these were non-80 numbers someone put together.
i guess i need to find it. i'm not really sure where they go...

hey man. hmmm. looks like i only have seven and i need eight.
also i found this in my notes. it's all kind of new to me so i guess i need to try to sort it out tomorrow.
can i ask if you see anything that looks right or looks wrong?(!)

3 frame to axle extended brake lines:
- 96940-34605 x1 for the Left (Driver) Front
- 90947-A2016 x1 for the Right (Passenger) Front
- 96940-34705 x1 for the rear

4 axle to caliper brake lines:
- Front: 90947-02A16 x2
- Rears Right: 90947-02614 x1
- Rears Left: 90947-02615 x1"

thanks for the help here.
so i labeled them with the notes i found.
i guess the "axle housing to brake caliper lines stay the same length. this is:
- Front: 90947-02A16 x2
- Rears Right: 90947-02614 x1
- Rears Left: 90947-02615 x1"
> and i am missing the second front one so i need to order it.

then for the truck frame to the axle lines these are the extended ones. these are:
- 96940-34605 x1 for the Left (Driver) Front
- 90947-A2016 x1 for the Right (Passenger) Front
- 96940-34705 x1 for the rear
> i have 90947-02A17 instead of 90947-A2016 that is written in my list so not sure if that is an issue or what the length is on the 02A17 one...

Think this through...

You do understand the reason for the extended lines, right???

It is to compensate for the increased distance between the axle and the frame when you lift the rig. to a much lesser degree to compensate for increased articulation (if you actually have any increase).

The only lines affected are the single line from frame to axle in the rear and the left and right side lines from frame to axle in the front. That's it.

Three longer lines needed. Three, not seven. Why would you need to change the lines to the calipers? The relationship between the axle and the calipers is never gonna change. Well, maybe it you got some of those add on Portal units, but if that was where you were at with your mods, you would be well past these questions. ;)

With the three brake lines in hand and the truck in front of you, it will be obvious where they need to go.

thanks. yeah. i think mudgudgeon and robnicko got me sorted.
i didn't realize the lines from the calipers to the axle were the same length i'm gathering.
i posted pics above with the locations for the longer ones and the stock ones on the parts so it's easy for someone to see. also the list in case anyone is buying some and it's not in the FAQ.
also i think i need to pick up 4 banjo bolts. i'm hoping i ordered 8 crush washers (?) but i need to check and i don't think i ordered banjo bolts. or do guys just reuse them?

Banjo volts are 100% reusable.
