I just bought King Solomons Mines yesterday in a bundle of old films. Looking forward to it even more now.

This is a trailer from an old favourite of mine. Keith Adams took an old buick, added a bigger engine and took it north all the way through the desert from Perth to the top end.
Not too politcially correct but a remarkable film. It outsold Sound of Music in its day

You may notice a very sick Aboriginal woman with two starving children. Keith Adams saved her life and was reunited with her last month 54 years later. She went onto to become a successful artist.

Looks to me to be a Dodge advertisment from the '50's.

Thanks for posting that!

Those Power Wagon school busses are wicked cool. I've seen two or three in the US.

We've got a few flat fender Power Wagons. I've been off road a little with them. Watching them drive like that makes my back hurt NOW. Really, that doesn't look comfortable AT ALL. They are really, really tough, but they don't so much flex as simply crawl along over everything.
